Pizza on Dukan? Yes Please! 

Pizza is an American staple. From parties to sporting events ordering a pie is easy as well…pie. We all know that the cravings are strong with this one. That’s why we have a Dukan friendly pizza recipe for you! It’s delicious cheesy and will satisfy your pizza craving. Even your friends will be begging for a slice! 

Here’s what you need:

½ Head of Cauliflower (or 2 cups riced)

1 clove of garlic 

1 cup of fat free ricotta cheese

1 egg (beaten)

1 tsp of basil

1tsp of oregano

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 400° F.

2. Prep a cooking sheet with oil.

3. Remove the stems and leaves from your cauliflower and chop the florets into chunks. Add to a food processor and pulse until it resembles rice

3. Sauté cauliflower "rice" in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook until translucent, approximately 6-8 minutes.

3. Combine the cooked cauliflower with all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

4. Spread dough out evenly over sheet about ¼ to ⅓ of an inch thick and 9-10 inches in diameter. 

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden, crispy on the edges and cooked through the middle (toothpick test always works!).

6. Remove the crust from the oven.

7. Top with pizza sauce and toppings. From our 100 foods there are plenty of things to add! But be careful to not weigh down the crust too much!

8. Broil the pizza for 5 minutes, or until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted. Allow the pizza to cool for 2-3 minutes then cut, serve and eat immediately
